What the columns mean

Proj/g is per-game fantasy points in your scoring. Season value is that rate × eGP, never × 82. Change the scoring map or roster depth and the number moves. In category leagues the same column prints as Z — a per-game z-score sum over the rostered pool; season z is that rate × eGP/82.

VOB/g is season value over baseline, shown per game: (rate × eGP minus the last startable at that position) ÷ eGP. PG through C, plus G / F / UTIL seats. The sort still uses season VOB. Category leagues print Z/base. The football missed-game haircut is not applied. Raw counting stats cannot compare a center to a point guard; VOB can.

Tier marks a cliff in the VOB curve. ADP is where drafters typically take him. Δ pick answers “can you wait?” eGP is expected games this season — load management, not a football bye. Surv% is the chance he is still there at your next turn, read from this room.

Sleeper already ships per-game counting stats. Surplus does not run the football house model on basketball, so there is no published accuracy percentage for NBA. The house-model backtest is football only.

Not a cheat sheet

Ranking sites and category-value tools — including Basketball Monster — are research. They are not a live draft board that records picks, holds a queue, and re-prices the room as seats fill. Surplus is the board. Those sites are the sheet beside it.

Who it is not for: a league that mainly wants a shared party URL. That is FanDraft or Clicky Draft. Surplus can be HDMI’d or cast; there is no shareable room.
