No. Surplus value is a drafting strategy. Surplus is a product: the free NBA board that writes Proj / VOB (or Z) on every row.
Value over baseline: season points above the last startable player at that position. Season points are per-game fantasy points × eGP (expected games), never × 82. The football missed-game haircut is not applied — eGP is already in the total. The points board prints Proj/g and VOB/g (season VOB ÷ eGP); the sort still uses season VOB. Sleeper already ships per-game counting stats. Season value is that rate × eGP. Surplus does not run the football house model on basketball, so there is no published accuracy percentage for NBA. Surv% uses ADP and rival starting slots. The house-model backtest at /backtest is football only.
